filmed debates, talks, readings and live performances by Kate Winslet, Tom Uglow, Edmund de Waal, Luke Wright, Caitlin Moran and Ed Harcourt.
raved to Sir Weatherall’s magnificent taste. Twice. And found a group of kids making incredible music somewhere in the forest: Turing.

i want my life to be a permanent festival. please?

my festival season is about to start.
this year, on what is a return to an unforgettable past, working.
for free but that is only a small and uninteresting detail.
who cares about money anyway, when there’s live music?

will be attending Soundwaves Festival, this coming sunday, in Brighton, to film Robin Rimbaud AKA Scanner for my current project, the documentary ‘music machines’.

then, moving outdoors, in the forest and by the river, to film at Port Eliot Festival, in the amazing land of St Germans.

the chef

14 Jun

after hours and hours in front of FCP, we finally made it.
‘the chef’ is ready, approved and will probably be on air this thursday at port eliot festival website.

loved working on this.
pitching, preparing treatment, organizing crew, buying props, scheduling shoot, preparing shot list, filming, the editing process, recording foley, sound designing (now a bit more experienced on pro-tools) and doing colour correction.

developed during a placement with stranger collective, ‘the chef’ is a commercial for port eliot festival, happening 21-24 july in st germans, cornwall.

we used a great track titled ‘hollow men’, by gravenhurst, who will be appearing at the festival.

will post the video after its premiere on the official site.

for now, here it is its last frame
